Home

The Home page is the first thing you see when you sign in to RadixHR. It’s your daily starting point — a single screen that surfaces what needs your attention today, gives you a live snapshot of your team, and puts your most common actions one click away.

What you can do here:

  • See alerts that need action — attendance anomalies, expiring documents, and pending items — grouped by day
  • Filter alerts to focus on what matters most (Urgent, Documents, Leave, or Attendance)
  • Check a live snapshot of who’s present, on leave, late, or awaiting approval
  • Jump straight into common tasks like adding an employee or running payroll
  • Keep track of upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries
Home page overview

What you see on Home depends on your role. HR admins and managers see team-wide alerts and quick actions like Run Payroll, while employees see items relevant to them. The examples on this page are shown from an HR admin’s view.

The banner at the top welcomes you and confirms who you’re signed in as. It shows your name, your job title and department, your company and work location, and a friendly greeting alongside today’s date. Use it as a quick check that you’re working in the right company and location before you act on anything below.

The Alerts Feed

The main column is a running feed of everything that needs looking at. Items are grouped under Today and Yesterday (and earlier), with a count of how many items sit in each group. The most recent and most urgent items appear first.

Filter Tabs

The tabs above the feed let you narrow it down to one kind of alert so you can clear a specific type of task in one go.

TabShows
AllEvery alert across all categories (the default)
UrgentOnly the items flagged as time-sensitive or overdue
DocumentsDocument alerts, such as IDs, visas, and passports that have expired or are about to
LeaveLeave-related alerts, such as requests needing a decision
AttendanceAttendance anomalies, such as absences, late arrivals, and early-outs

Alert Types

Each alert appears as its own card. The card tells you what happened, when, and gives you a button to act on it. The two most common cards are:

Attendance anomaly

A daily summary of attendance issues for your team. The card headline (e.g., “Today: 196 absent”) is followed by a short description and a breakdown of the numbers:

FigureMeaning
LateEmployees who clocked in after their scheduled start
AbsentEmployees with no attendance and no approved leave
Early OutEmployees who clocked out before their scheduled end

Click Review to open the Attendance page and look into the flagged employees.

Document Expired

Flags an employee document that has passed its expiry date — for example, “Michael Garcia’s Emirates ID has expired.” The card shows the Expired date so you can see how urgent it is. Click View to open the record and take action (such as requesting a renewal).

An anomaly simply means something that falls outside the normal rules — an employee marked absent with no approved leave, or a document past its renewal date. Home collects these so you don’t have to go hunting for them across different pages.

Loading More

When a group has more items than fit on screen, a Load More button appears at the bottom (e.g., “Load More (19 remaining)”). Click it to reveal the rest of the alerts in that group.

Today’s Overview

The Today’s Overview panel on the right gives you a live headcount snapshot for the current day. Each figure is a button — click it to jump to the full list behind that number.

Quick Actions

Quick Actions are shortcuts to the tasks HR and managers reach for most often, so you can start them without navigating through the sidebar.

Quick Actions panel
ActionWhat it does
Add EmployeeOpens the form to onboard a new team member
Run PayrollTakes you to Payroll to process monthly salaries
ApprovalsOpens your pending requests so you can review them
Attendance ReportOpens the team attendance view

Upcoming Events

The Upcoming Events panel keeps you ahead of personal milestones across the company — birthdays and work anniversaries — each shown with its date and the employee’s name. It’s an easy way to remember to send a note or plan a celebration.

Quick Check-In

At the bottom of the sidebar — visible from Home and every other page — is a check-in widget that shows your scheduled shift (e.g., “Shift: 09:00 – 18:00”) and its current status. Use the In button to clock in without leaving the page; once you’re in, the same widget lets you clock out.

Make Home your first stop each morning. Clear the Urgent filter first, glance at Today’s Overview to see who’s in, then use Quick Actions to handle anything that needs doing — all before you open another page.
