Candidates
The Candidates page is your central database of everyone in your recruitment pipeline — people who have applied for a job or whom you’ve sourced directly. From here you can add candidates, search them, filter by hiring stage, and open a full profile with their experience, skills, and application history.
What you can do here:
- Browse every candidate in your database
- Search candidates by name, email, or skill
- Filter candidates by hiring stage
- Add a new candidate manually or with Smart Import
- Open a candidate’s profile to see their full background and job applications

Viewing Candidates
Candidates are listed in a table. The count of candidates in your database is shown under the page title. Each row shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The candidate’s avatar (initials) and full name. Click the row to open their profile. |
| The candidate’s email address | |
| Phone | Phone number, if provided |
| Location | City or region, if provided |
| Skills | The candidate’s skills as badges. If there are more than a few, a +N badge shows the remaining count. |
| Links | Icons linking to the candidate’s LinkedIn profile and portfolio, if provided |
The footer below the table lets you set Rows per page and move between pages.
Search and Filter
The toolbar above the table has three controls:
- Search candidates… — Find a candidate by name, email, or skill
- Status dropdown — Filter the list by hiring stage; each option shows how many candidates are in that stage
- Add Candidate — Opens the Add New Candidate form
Hiring Stages
The status dropdown filters candidates by their current stage:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| All | Every candidate in your database |
| Pending | New candidates awaiting initial review |
| Reviewing | Candidates whose application is being reviewed |
| Shortlisted | Candidates selected for further consideration |
| Interviewing | Candidates in the interview process |
| Offered | Candidates who have received a job offer |
| Rejected | Candidates who were not selected |

Click Smart Import at the top of the Add New Candidate form, provide the candidate’s resume, and the extracted information is used to fill in the form. Review and adjust it before saving.
Smart Import is the fastest way to add a sourced candidate or a referral — it fills in contact details, summary, skills, experience, and education for you to review.
Candidates are also added automatically when someone applies through a published job posting. Manual entry and Smart Import are for referrals and candidates you source yourself.
